Jennifer is a psychologist and earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University, Bloomington, M.S. in Counseling from California State University, East Bay, and B.S. in Psychology from UC Davis. She has experience in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and with Asian American mental health concerns. Jennifer has worked at UC Davis for over 25 years and she is a member of the Postvention Committee, Students of Concern Committee, Mental Health Task Force, and UC wide Case Managers group. Jennifer grew up in SF Chinatown and speaks Cantonese & Toisanese Chinese. She is a first-generation college graduate and loves Hello Kitty items and dim sum.
