Joscelyne grew up in Tucson, AZ, but calls many places home, including Seattle, WA, Corvallis, OR, and Providence, Rhode Island, in addition to the Sacramento area. Jos received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Oregon State University, and a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, RI. She was a practicing attorney for several years, focusing primarily on immigration and public interest law. Her background includes mediation and restorative justice, legal compliance in higher education, and training. Jos is an avid reader and also enjoys the outdoors, collecting and polishing rocks, jewelry-making, flamenco guitar, and walks with her wife and dog.
