Case Manager
Kim earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her M.S. from Drexel University in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Development & Affairs. She has worked on campus at UC Davis for 10 years, starting her career here with Student Health & Counseling Services. As an Insurance Coordinator at Student Health, she supported students with their medical and mental health referrals, resolving insurance issues and ensuring students have access to care. She then spent 5 years as a Case Manager for Counseling Services, from 2018 to 2023, where she helped students connect to mental health providers, coordinated discharge from psychiatric hospitals, and helped them connect to campus partner units. In 2023, Kim joined the Office of Student Support and Judicial Affairs as a case manager. Her current focus is on community resources, working with students from diverse backgrounds, and intersecting identities. One of her main goals is to help students develop self-advocacy skills.
