Bio

Robin grew up in a military family and lived in lots of different places, including 8 different states in the U.S. and 5 years in England, before graduating from high school. Robin received a B.A. in English from the University of Arkansas, completed her M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis in College and Career Counseling at San Francisco State University, and later did extensive training in intercultural communication. Robin has lived in Northern California since 1989, has raised her three children here, and loves the openness and diversity of our California culture. She has worked at UC Davis for over 15 years in a variety of different roles, including Financial Aid, Study Abroad, Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS), and OSSJA. In her role as a Case Manager, she focuses on working with students in the College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences (CAES). She considers it a privilege to connect with students and help them access the resources and support they need to be able to find community, overcome barriers, and achieve their educational and personal goals.
